Rude wait time worse than ER the trainees were more caring and nicer than this group. The receptionist was rude I didn’t know I had an unpaid balance from 2022 I had to pay it before I could be seen ok no problem I paid the 169$ On yesterday I received a text notification from Credit Bureau for the same amount I’d already paid. When called about it today the person who did not identify herself was very unprofessional rude and sighing! When I went to orthro ER I told the receptionist I’d been in an accident hurt my knee and back . She stated that I couldn’t be seen today for my back only my knee. She gave me a clipboard to fill out a book, as I noticed other were being called back that arrived after me. I finally went to the desk to ask why all of the folk being called back who arrived after me…The receptionist replied because you haven’t completed all of your paper work…I replied I can take it with me and finish it until the doctor comes in. She replied that’s not allowed however the young white female arrived way after me was standing up beside me in front of her chair filling out her paperwork and she was called back and took her paperwork with her. The provider explained my x-rays in detail. She also recommended modalities. The staff was very courteous. I would recommend Ortho Ga. Urgent Care to anyone.

We chose here over the ER after my son was in an accident. We knew they would take the best care of his ortho needs. PA Judi was great and gave advice about following up for the other stuff after an accident too. Always a great choice and they remembered him from a previous visit in the regular care center too! Great team!

From Miss Julie in her fabulous golf cart, to the ladies who greeted us in buildings A & B, we can’t thank OrthoGa for such a pleasant experience. Dr Thornsbury & staff were able to see us after my mother’s fall, and helping us as we begin her journey of healing. Chris Woods with his care and concern during the CT scan-Ortho Georgia sets the bar very high in our area!

The front office staff was kind, professional, and welcoming, and I truly appreciate the way they treated us. Unfortunately, the care we received from Karen was the complete opposite. My mother came in because she was in severe pain. She was crying throughout the visit and repeatedly stated that she did not want strong narcotic pain medication. She simply wanted help managing her pain and guidance on what to do next. Instead of showing compassion, Karen made us feel as though my mother was only there seeking drugs. Whether that was intended or not, that is exactly how we were made to feel. Being in pain does not make someone a drug seeker, and no patient should be treated as if they are guilty for asking for medical care. What was most upsetting was watching my mother leave feeling embarrassed and ashamed. She kept saying she felt like a bad person for coming in and that she shouldn’t have even sought help. No healthcare provider should make a patient in obvious pain feel stupid, ridiculous, or judged for seeking treatment. Not every patient needs or expects narcotics, and providers have every right to decide what treatment is appropriate. However, every patient deserves to be
